چکیده

The design of a Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) controller with proportional, integral, and derivative, gain, k p , i d respectively, for time-delay system, is quite common, particularly in the - plane, fixed or . These methods have been widely reported literature, however, process investigating effects using any these planes on system performance has not given serious attention hence need this study. stability region plane value respectively were determined. For every determined region, optimum gains was genetic algorithm (GA) integral time multiplied by absolute error (ITAE) used as objective function. graphically plotting minimum ITAE (Min-ITAE) each against gains. overall are gain that gives Min-ITAE (Min (Min-ITAE)) resulted yielded Min (Min-ITAE). Using gains, closed-loop step response plotted two domain measures (TDPMs) Based TDPMs obtained examples 1, 2, 3, -k faster while closely tracks input irrespective type order. study will enable control designers to select give best right from start without involving trial once transfer function specifications known.

Design of PID Controller for Teleopration System with Genetic Algorithm

This paper presents a novel teleoperation controller for a nonlinear master–slave robotic system with constant time delay in communication channel. The proposed controller enables the teleoperation system to compensate human and environmental disturbances, while achieving master and slave position coordination in both free motion and contact situation. The current work basically extends the pas...

Controller design for time-delay systems using genetic algorithms

In this article, the set of all stabilizing lead-lag controllers applied to a class of linear time delay systems is obtained. The original problem is divided into two sub-problems with the help of Kharitonov’s Lemma. This essential step allows the application of the D-decomposition method and the determination of the complete set of stability regions. In the second part of this paper, stability...

PSO Algorithm-based Robust Design of PID Controller for Variable Time-delay Systems: AQM Application

This paper formulates a robust control for variable time-delay system models. An automatic tuning method for PID-type controller is proposed. The adopted method integrates robust control design using Quantitative Feedback Theory (QFT) with Particle Swan Optimization heuristic algorithms (PSO) to systematize the loop-shaping stage. The objective of the design method is to reach a good compromise...
